Alberto Collazzoni, Ph.D.

Dr. Alberto Collazzoni earned his master’s degree in 2010 and Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2015 from the University of L’Aquila, Italy. During these years, he had the opportunity to work in both public and private mental health treatment settings. He has also had 4 years of training in cognitive-behavioral therapy from the School of Cognitive Psychotherapy (SPC) in Rome, Italy where he treated adolescents and adults suffering from generalized anxiety disorder, panic attacks, OCD, and depression. In 2017, he gained further experience as an Assistant Project Scientist at the UCLA Stress Lab. Dr. Collazzoni works primarily from a CBT approach, including cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, and ACT. Due to his passion in treating OCD and anxiety from a cognitive-behavioral approach, he joined RFC in 2018 to complete his fellow wship. Dr. Collazzoni is a Registered Psychological Assistant at the Renewed Freedom Center, and his services are provided under the license and supervision of Jennifer Lynch, Psy.D. (PSY30626).
