Melanie English, M.A.

Practicum Intern

Melanie English is currently completing a Doctor of Psychology in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Carolina. Her clinical work includes crisis counseling with children and adolescents with the Division of Children and Family Services. Prior to that, she facilitated evidence-based treatment programs for the Department of Corrections. She also has experience in private practice, specializing in anxiety and depression. She takes a client-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach to mental health and behavioral change. Her services are provided under the license and supervision of Jennifer Lynch, Psy.D. (PSY30626).
